The initial inspiration for the tops was Wooda’s iconic logo of a tree. We felt it captured the company’s synergy for working with wood and its history as a furniture maker. To expand the story, we looked for elements in nature that occurred around trees that could be poetically translated into tops, hence the Agua and Cairn versions. This resulted in three tops whose sculptural nature made them perfect items to admire while at rest as objects of art, or to meditate over while spinning them. Each top comes with a dish for the top to spin in that is marked with a unique serial number and designer signature.
